Anchored Web was founded in 2009 by Adrian Rodriguez, who has been programming since 1987. He graduated in 2004 with a BA in Mass Communication from California State University, Fresno, and worked as senior reporter for The Business Journal (Fresno) and also worked as a reporter for The Fresno Bee, Fresno State Magazine, and The Tribune (San Luis Obispo).
In 2007, he started an online community news site — a project that exposed him to the world of professional programming and design, earning the first Glen Patch scholarship through the Central Valley Business Incubator. Later projects included PayShrink -- an online coupon directory with dynamic codes delivered via SMS. His expertise in Content Management Systems deployment and coding in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, jQuery, and other languages has become a passion for him.
Anchored Web was a global finalist in the Google Adwords “Train & Gain” Competition — one of fifteen in the world — in 2009, as part of work with Fright Night Scream Park in Clovis.
In 2011, Anchored Web was hired as a contractor for the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office. In 2017, we were hired as a contractor for the Travis County Clerk’s Office. In 2018, we were hired as a contractor for the City of Clovis Police Department.
In 2019, Anchored Web Solutions became a delivery resource for California Manufacturing Technology Consulting, meaning we now specialize in working with business-to-consumer as well as business-to-business eCommerce sites.
In addition to government clients, Anchored Web also works closely with non-profit organizations, connecting them with online resources available only to 501(c)3 agencies.
